Real estate has been busy in a different way too. I spent a lot of time this month touring some beautiful waterfront and Lands End properties, hosting open houses on Island View, and bouncing between meetings in Oak Bay and the Peninsula. Showings have picked up and I’m seeing some incredible homes lately. Some days honestly looked exactly like this: laptop open in the passenger seat trying to connect to WiFi between showings.

One thing I’ve really noticed lately is how much people are craving lifestyle in their home search. Buyers are still paying attention to numbers and interest rates of course, but more conversations are centering around pace of life, outdoor space, privacy, walkability, and simply how a home feels.

And honestly, living and working on the Peninsula reminds me every day why people want to be here.
